Lighting Products and Fixtures Design Luminare Lamp by Hernan Gregorio The designer's idea was to reflect about all stages of design using the Dieter Rams ten design principles as reference, and to utilize a simple object to convey a design philosophy that goes beyond aesthetics. What makes a lamp, a lamp? And How simple can it be? The design is composed by four basic elements intertwine to form a minimalist and geometric expression of a traditional ceiling lamp. Nowadays, sustainability is one of the big challenges designers need to face. These designs use natural materials that are recyclable, compostable and biodegradable.
