Cannibalumin Luminaire

Nima Bavardi

Lighting Products and Fixtures Design Cannibalumin Luminaire by Nima Bavardi The particular shape of the annular luminaire is inspired by king snake and the phenomenon of the self-cannibalism; If these snakes get too hot, they begin to eat their own tails, creating a circle. There happens a self-cannibalism cycle between LED lamp and Si based solar cell located in the head and the tail of the luminaire. This eye-catching designincludes a LED light source on the head part of it having a wavelength in 400-1100 nm and a seperateable solar panel (Si based solar cells) that get charged by both light of the LED and the direct sunlight.
