Sustainable Products, Projects and Green Design Olafur k New material from Arundo Donax by Carlos Lozano Experimentation and development to create a new material or a new entity of material from the plant species Arundo donax. This plant is an invasive species in much of the Mediterranean basin and other countries of the world; therefore, it is detrimental to native ecosystems and their flora and fauna. The intention of this project has been to use a common material and with few productive uses which results in the reduction of the species and in the improvement of our ecosystems.
